Rory Snookes (1969 - )
Studied painting at Gloucestershire College of Art and Technology (1987-88) and art history at Warwick University (1988-1991); worked for Christies South Kensington in 1991; wrote
occasional reviews for Apollo magazine before returning to Warwick in
1994 to study for an MA in art history; worked at
Tate Britain between 1997 and 1999 as a catalogue researcher and for Tate Publishing,
lectured for the Events Department and wrote for tate magazine; employed by the Serpentine Gallery, London, between 1998 and 2007 and by the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, since 2008; Director of 393 Fine Art Ltd since 2003
